Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support software quality assurance, testing, and validation for enterprise applications and SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing, test planning, defect management, system integrations, and data validation, ensuring applications meet business requirements and are ready for production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for application features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance (UAT), security, and performance testing as required.

Identify, document, track, and report software defects using bug-tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Validate application configurations, customizations, business rules, workflows, permissions, and related functionality.

Conduct API integration testing using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

Validate data integrity and accuracy during data migration and routine operations using SQL/SOQL queries and data-loading tools.

Collaborate with business users, business analysts, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.

Support integration testing and UAT activities, including coordinating with end users and validating defect fixes.

Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, testing status updates, and recommendations to improve software quality.

Ensure applications meet functional requirements and quality standards before production release.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, test case development, and defect lifecycle management.

Experience testing enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and complex business systems.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools such as Jira and Postman.

Experience with REST API testing, database queries (SQL/SOQL), and data validation.

Ability to analyze application configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Experience supporting public-sector, government, or other complex enterprise environments is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience with system integration testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing.

Exposure to accessibility and performance testing.

Experience working with third-party vendors and cross-functional project teams.

Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms, including Salesforce configurations and customizations, is an advantage.
