IT Asset Apprentice<br />Voyage Care | Near Lichfield, Staffordshire | 37.5 hours per week<br />Start your IT career with real hands-on experience from day one<br />Are you curious about technology and looking for the perfect first step into an IT career?<br />At Voyage Care, we’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our IT Infrastructure & Services team as an IT Asset Apprentice.
This role is designed for someone at the start of their journey — giving you real responsibility, structured learning, and the support you need to grow into a long-term career in IT.<br />What you’ll be doing<br />You’ll play a key part in keeping our IT operations running smoothly, supporting everything from equipment deployment to asset tracking.<br />Your day-to-day will include:
Maintaining accurate records of IT assets (hardware, software and mobile devices)<br />Processing orders for equipment and supporting procurement activities<br />Assisting with the setup and distribution of laptops, devices and accessories<br />Coordinating deliveries and collections with colleagues across the business<br />Supporting the management of our mobile device fleet<br />Helping with audits and ensuring data accuracyThis role is a mix of administration, coordination and hands-on IT support — giving you a well-rounded introduction to the field.<br />What we’re looking for<br />You don’t need prior IT experience — we’re more interested in your potential and attitude.<br />We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A genuine interest in technology and how it works<br />Strong organisation skills and reliability<br />Great attention to detail<br />Confident communication skills<br />A positive attitude and willingness to learn<br />Basic IT skills (e.g.
