About the Job

Our Australia Headquarters is in Sydney, but we have a team of Field Services Technicians based in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA for our customers. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and committed Field Service Technician based in Newcastle to join our close knit team. In this role you will work with other Field Service Technicians and external contractors to triage service requests ranging from product installation, service maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of our Cash Redemption Terminal (CRT) machines. It is a role for someone passionate about fixing and repairing machinery - getting to the root cause, solving the problem and ensuring it is resolved.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the technical interface with customers
  • Coordinate and perform product installations and maintenance
  • Respond to both email and phone requests for support
  • Monitor equipment performance
  • Provide feedback to Supervisor on product performance
  • Liaise with and support any assigned team member or service contractor within your region
About You
  • A valid Driver's Licence is an inherent requirement of the role as work is performed onsite at client premises
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licence as required (the company will assist with application)
  • At least 3 years field service experience including handling technical queries from the field
  • Availability to travel local, regional and sometimes interstate
  • Availability to work on a 7 day rotating roster (weekend work required)
  • Good understanding of electro mechanical systems and computing environments
  • Professional presentation - appearance and communication skills
  • Experience with hand and power tools, or experience in a similar role
  • Ability to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelines
