Operational Security Engineer IAM

Description:

We are looking for a Senior Operational Security Engineer (2nd/3rd line) to join an IT Security Production team, working within a Squad focused on IAM Technologies in Brussels, Belgium.

Mission context:

You will work in an Agile/Squad environment, taking ownership of your technical domain. The squad covers the following security areas: End-User & Privileged Access, Authentication & Authorization, Access Recertification, Vulnerability and Risk Management, and Security Monitoring.

Your responsibilities:

IAM Operations

• Manage the lifecycle of squad applications (Windows/SQL, Java/.Net, PHP/JS, PowerShell tooling)

• Configure and maintain security monitoring tools

• Perform security monitoring and analysis of events, incidents and problems

• Manage IAM workflows, access recertification and reconciliation

• Manage user rights (RBAC/ABAC), joiner/mover/leaver processes

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure migration

• Provide 3rd-line security support and incident response

• Contribute to Disaster Recovery exercises (DORA compliance)

Risk, Audit & Compliance

• Manage risk and vulnerability remediation

• Contribute to audit campaigns and control plans

• Produce reports for management and stakeholders

• Write SOPs, secure standards and end-user documentation

Your profile:

Mandatory skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT / Cybersecurity Operations

• Authentication & Authorization - solid/expert knowledge

• IAM RBAC, CyberArk (PAM)

• Active Directory - advanced knowledge

• Scripting: PowerShell, Batch

• Red Hat IdM, Tomcat, IIS

• Computer Networking - advanced knowledge

• Fluent English (mandatory)

Nice to have:

• IAM/PAM solutions, SSO, SailPoint IIQ

• SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Qualys, Tanium)

• ServiceNow, SharePoint, GitLab / CI/CD

• French is a plus
