TSPV/TSPA Cleared Principal Cyber Security Advisor - Lead Secure-by-Design & Accreditation

Location: Onsite - ACT
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current TSPV clearance.
Eligibility: This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements. We are committed to a non discriminatory hiring process but, unfortunately, cannot provide visa sponsorship for overseas applicants.
Essential Tasks- Provide expert cyber security advice across architecture, engineering, and project teams to support secure by design outcomes
- Conduct cyber security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments across complex ICT services
- Review and update security documentation including SRMPs, SSPs, IRPs, DRPs, and accreditation artefacts
- Drive alignment of ICT solutions with the ISM, Essential Eight maturity requirements, and broader security standards
- Demonstrated experience in cyber security or security architecture roles within Australian Government environments
- Strong capability in cyber risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, accreditation, and system authorisation activities
- Deep understanding of secure architecture principles, networking infrastructure, and cyber security controls
- Proven ability to develop or contribute to security policy, standards, guidelines, and security documentation for complex systems
