Job Title: Delivery Lead Max Supplier Rate: £580 - £630 Clearance Required: BPSS Duration: 6 months Location: Telford with 2 days/week in office IR35 Status: Inside Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join the clients team within Tax Admin.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters and technical specialists to oversee the delivery of a varied portfolio of change across one of the clients largest and most business-critical services.
The role requires a proactive self-starter who can establish effective delivery controls, manage stakeholder expectations, balance competing priorities and ensure work is delivered to agreed timelines and quality standards within a complex delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities Take ownership of a portfolio of the project deliveries from initiation through to implementation.<br />Create and maintain delivery plans, forecasts and governance artefacts.<br />Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.<br />Provide clear reporting and progress updates to stakeholders.<br />Coordinate activities across engineering, test, architecture, business analysis and Scrum Master functions.<br />Lead resource planning and forecasting activities, ensuring delivery commitments remain achievable and risks are identified early.<br />Work with stakeholders to prioritise demand, balancing available capacity against business priorities and delivery commitments.<br />Ensure releases are delivered in line with agreed milestones and governance controls.<br />Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and ways of working.<br />Support and mentor junior delivery colleagues where appropriate.
Skills & Experience Proven experience leading delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.<br />Strong delivery governance, planning and reporting experience.<br />Experience of resource planning, forecasting and capacity management.<br />Ability to prioritise competing demands and make informed decisions based on delivery risk, business value and team capacity.<br />Experienced in stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.<br />Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills.<br />Experience working within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.<br />Public sector experience desirable but not essential.<br />Experience of Jira, Confluence and similar delivery management tooling desirable.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
