Job Description — Software Integration Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between applications, systems, APIs, and third-party platforms. The role will work closely with development, product, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and seamless data and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations between internal and external applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services, and integration solutions.
• Integrate third-party applications, platforms, and services.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve production defects.
• Work with development and QA teams on integration testing and deployment.
• Monitor integrations and ensure reliability, performance, and availability.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, interfaces, and integration workflows.
• Follow software development, security, and coding best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP, and web services.
• Experience with API integration and third-party system integration.
• Understanding of databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
