Kforce has a client that is seeking an eCommerce Leader (Contract) in the Chicagoland area (Onsite Monday-Thursday).
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced eCommerce Leader/Product Owner to help drive a critical dealer-facing Parts eCommerce initiative ahead of a major production rollout. This role requires a hands-on commerce expert who has built and delivered complex eCommerce platforms, not simply managed teams supporting them.
This individual will serve as the strategic product lead for a modern B2B commerce ecosystem built on Spryker Cloud Commerce OS, partnering closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful platform delivery and adoption.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Own and manage the product backlog, priorities, and roadmap execution
* Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
* Lead sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Drive stakeholder communication and alignment across teams
* Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies and delivery risks
* Ensure Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards are met
* Support roadmap reviews, demos, and escalation management
* Partner with engineering to deliver a scalable, dealer-facing commerce experience
Technology Environment:
* Spryker Cloud Commerce OS
* React/Next.js
* API-driven architecture
* Real-time pricing and inventory capabilities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience delivering enterprise eCommerce platforms
* Strong Product Owner or eCommerce product leadership background
* Deep understanding of: Order management; Pricing engines; Cart and checkout workflows; Fulfillment lifecycle; Backorder and returns processing; Credit management
* Experience working with ERP, DMS, and commerce integrations
* Agile/Scrum environment experience

* Dealer Management Systems (CDK, Procede, Karmak)
* EDI integrations
* Punchout (cXML/OCI)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
