Job Description
Stress Engineer Fatigue and Damage Tolerance.
Our Aerospace client based in Filton, Bristol UK, require the support of a Stress Engineer, who is skilled in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis.
This role will be offered on a contract basis through Strongfield Consultants. Onsite hybrid working 3 days per week in Filton, this work is inside IR35 regulations and will be PAYE Payrolled. Candidates will also need to undergo baseline personnel security clearance vetting - BPSS level.
The Role:
This role is open to UK based candidates, who currently hold the rights to live and work in the United Kingdom. If you have friends or colleagues, please feel free to share. Rate is dependant upon experience level and the cost of the Consultant to perform this activity.The work is paid PAYE within IR35 regulations.

The Role:
- Knowledge of Wing structures, particularly structural analysis of metallic wing parts such as ribs, lugs, and fittings. Knowledge or previous experience of trailing edge assemblies would be an asset.
- Experience with Airbus stress methodology and ISAMI toolset,
- Able to conduct a range of fatigue and damage tolerance methods such as crack growth analysis, cycle counting methods, load spectrums.
- Prior or current recognition of checking or approval signature authority in F&DT is an asset.
- Able to generate stress documentation, certification reports, and supporting analysis calculation files.
