Performance Test Lead/Performance Engineer - SC Cleared

Location: London or Leeds (50% onsite)
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £300 per day
Start: 1st October 2026

We're recruiting a Performance Test Lead to join a major transformation programme. This is a Performance Engineering role-not a traditional performance testing position.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years' Performance Testing/Engineering
• JMeter and/or LoadRunner
• Performance analysis & bottleneck identification
• NFR definition and performance strategy
• Azure, AWS or GCP performance testing
• Dynatrace or New Relic
• Grafana & Splunk
• Python Scripting
• Jenkins/GitHub Actions and CI/CD
• Docker & Kubernetes

Desirable:

• Databricks, Kafka, IBM MQ, ELK
• Banking or Financial Services experience

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance
• 50% onsite in London or Leeds
