Bussiness Analyst with SAP (mid level)

SAP Fioneer expertise as a mandatory skill requirement, with hands-on exposure to Finance, CML (Consumer Mortgage Loans), and TRM (Treasury Risk Management) modules.

Job Summary:
In this role you will partner with finance and accounting stakeholders to represent their requirements for SAP?s Cloud4Banking (subledger) implementation. Leveraging your deep accounting expertise, you will analyze and document financial processes, gather and translate business requirements, and help design and implement new technical solutions aligned with regulatory and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:
? Document existing financial and business processes, including how legacy systems support accounting operations.
? Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to capture business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications.
? Gather, analyze, and document requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
? Assess systems, workflows, and data flows for optimization, with a focus on financial applications.
? Perform data analysis, mapping, and support integration and migration of accounting and financial data.
? Effectively communicate and facilitate understanding between finance/business and technical teams.
? Translate complex technical concepts into clear business and finance language.
? Design and execute comprehensive test plans; coordinate user acceptance testing sessions with accounting stakeholders.
? Collaborate with IT, product vendors, and global project teams to deliver solutions tailored to accounting needs.
? Support project planning, milestone tracking, and release management.
? Build strong partnerships across finance, accounting, operations, and IT teams.
? Proactively identify and address financial risks, supporting a culture of controls and compliance.
? Champion process improvement and automation in financial and accounting workflows.
? Apply data governance and data quality management best practices to accounting records.
? Experience supporting or implementing Audit and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance within financial systems.
? Proven track record in facilitating controls testing, documentation, and remediation for Audit and SOX system implementations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
? Experience collaborating with finance/accounting and operations teams to capture requirements and translate them into system specifications.
? Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and core financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, financial reporting, reconciliations, and period close.
? Background in business architecture, business analysis, or relevant technical roles.
? Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting financial data (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau).
? Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving finance/accounting standards.
? Familiarity with data integration, migration, and financial software platforms.
? Technical documentation, workflow optimization, and process automation experience.
? Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, and/or Azure DevOps.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
? Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
? Exceptional organizational skills; able to manage tasks and projects concurrently.
? Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, preferably in SAP Cloud4Banking (subledger) modules.
? Understanding of data governance, release and dependency management.
? Familiarity with Infrastructure Investments domain is a plus.
? Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members.
? Prior experience in change management, vendor and stakeholder management.
