Software Engineer II (Full Scope Poly) with Security Clearance

Shadowgate Partners is seeking a Software Engineer II for a Client. Position Overview You will serve as a general-purpose Software Engineer and Data Integrator on an emerging project, designing, developing, and integrating solutions that analyze large data sets to deliver mission-centric insights. You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, fellow software and systems engineers, and system administrators to integrate AI/ML technologies. Key Responsibilities • Build upon Docker/Kubernetes experience to support containerized services.
• Develop scripts to convert and normalize data.
• Apply DevOps practices across the development lifecycle.
• Leverage AI and machine learning technologies.
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders and assess the applicability of AI and ML solutions. Required Qualifications • Experience using AI, LLMs, and current-generation technologies.
• Production-grade software development experience in Python.
• Experience deploying and managing services in cloud-based hosting environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Service containerization and deployment using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git and repository management tools.
• Documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with additional programming languages such as Java or C.
• Web application prototyping in JavaScript.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Analysis of cybersecurity-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
• Understanding of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems. Experience & Education Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in place of a B.S. Clearance Level This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must hold, or be able to reinstate, the required clearance and polygraph prior to start. Clearance eligibility must be maintained throughout the duration of employment. Salary & Benefits $176,000 – $192,000 per year, plus an additional 25% in fully and immediately vested employer 401(k) contributions.
