Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant to support enterprise analytics, reporting, process intelligence, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) initiatives. This contractor will play a critical role in designing scalable data pipelines, developing executive dashboards, implementing KPI frameworks, and operationalizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) reporting across business and technology functions. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Power BI, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), data engineering, business intelligence, and statistical analytics to deliver solutions that improve transparency and operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions
• Build executive, operational, and strategic reporting that enables data-driven decision making
• Develop complex data models, semantic layers, KPIs, calculations, and DAX measures
• Design, build, and optimize data ingestion pipelines into Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from enterprise applications, APIs, operational systems, and third-party sources
• Work with BigQuery and cloud-native services to support scalable analytics solutions
• Partner with business teams to define, document, and operationalize KPI frameworks
• Develop and maintain Statistical Process Control reporting for Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) and operational process management programs
• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and operational assessments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery reviews

Requirements:

• 5 years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions
• 3 years of experience working within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, Data Modeling, BigQuery, ETL/ELT Development, and Data Integration and Transformation
• Experience building executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and business intelligence best practices
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL), AI Operations, Process Intelligence, Automation, or Digital Transformation programs
• Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement frameworks
• Experience developing KPI scorecards and operational health dashboards
• Proficiency with Python, APIs, Git-based source control, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Data Governance and Metadata Management
• Experience with process mining, observability, automation, or workflow analytics platforms
• Financial services or highly regulated industry experience preferred

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
