Job Title: Data Scientist
Job Location: St. Louis, MO
Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000
Eligibility/Clearance: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with Python expertise
and a GEOINT or INTEL background to support real world national security
problems. In this role, you will apply advanced analytics and data
science to help modernize analytic workflows, introduce new analytic
methodologies, and turn complex data into actionable insights for
mission teams and decision-makers. You will support the development of
clear visualizations to uncover patterns and trends, build solutions to
extract actionable insights, and effectively communicate findings to
both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Role Overview
- Create data science solutions and automated workflows
- Query and integrate web APIs through Python to retrieve, normalize,
and operationalize data.
- Analyze and integrate complex datasets from multiple sources,
ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout.
- Develop interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn,
Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
- Build dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit,
Panel, Tableau, or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Must have proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in
designing mission ready solutions.
- Experience with large datasets
- Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab
or GitHub.
- Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation related to
software systems and automated workflows.
- Must have prior experience with the IC or broader U.S. military
organizational structures in a role that supported an intelligence
mission
- Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data
repositories.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (we can sponsor your poly
if you don't already have one, but you must have an active TS/SCI)
- 10 years of related experience (can be met through a combination of
experience, education, and certifications/training – everything will
be considered, a few examples are below).
- 7 years of relevant experience and a BS degree is an acceptable
equivalent
- 6 years of relevant experience, an AA degree, and 4 professional
relevant certifications is an acceptable equivalent.
- If you have an Associates, a Bachelors, and a Masters – you’d
only need 3 years or relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with FADE tools (MIST, INTELBOOK, LINX,
WATCH BOX) to discover and refine analytical insights.
- Proficiency with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) statistical tools
such as MapLarge, Tableau, MATLAB, JEMA or Brewlytics
- Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or
ArcPy.
- Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
- SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering,
Cybersecurity, or related technical field (or equivalent
experience).
