We are looking for a highly experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to build and deploy Agentic AI workflow automation for a leading global financial services organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineering role where you will work directly with internal business teams to identify manual, high-value workflows and transform them into production-ready Agentic AI automations.

Rather than simply receiving requirements and handing off designs, you will embed directly with business functions, understand their processes firsthand, rapidly prototype solutions, deploy them, and continuously improve them based on real-world user feedback.

You will own the full lifecycle discovery design prototype production iteration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Embed directly with business functions to understand workflows, processes, and pain points.

Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities for AI-powered workflow automation.

Design and build Agentic AI solutions using existing foundation models and agent frameworks.

Develop solutions involving tool calling, function calling, multi-step reasoning, and agent orchestration.

Translate ambiguous, undocumented manual processes into practical, automatable workflows.

Own delivery from discovery and prototyping through production deployment and continuous improvement.

Work directly with non-technical business stakeholders and iterate solutions based on real user feedback.

Implement human-in-the-loop controls, audit logging, explainability, and governance for regulated environments.

Build RAG solutions for unstructured enterprise data including contracts, policies, reports, correspondence, and other documents.

Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and internal platforms.

Work closely with security and compliance teams to prepare solutions for production.

Develop reusable components and patterns that can be adopted by other teams and business functions.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Software Engineering

8 15+ years of software engineering experience
Strong Java and/or Python
Strong SQL & data modeling
Experience working with enterprise/legacy data systems

Agentic AI / GenAI

Hands-on experience building and deploying production AI/ML or Agentic AI systems
Agent frameworks and foundation models
Tool Calling / Function Calling
Multi-step Agent Orchestration
RAG / Retrieval-Augmented Generation
Embeddings & Vector Databases
Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or similar technologies

Cloud & Integration

AWS/cloud deployment experience
REST APIs and enterprise integrations
Ability to integrate quickly with existing enterprise systems and data platforms
Experience building lightweight monitoring for accuracy, usage, and reliability

Governance & Compliance

Human-in-the-loop AI patterns
Audit-by-design logging
Model evaluation and AI quality assessment
AI guardrails and responsible automation
Experience working in regulated environments

Experience automating workflows within Risk, Compliance, Internal Controls, Financial Reporting, or Shared Services is a major plus.
