Job Description

we are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Salesforce Developer to support the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Grants Portal (NGP). The NGP is a Salesforce-based platform responsible for administering $48.2 billion in federal broadband grant programs under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), including BEAD, Digital Equity, Middle Mile, and Tribal Broadband Connectivity initiatives.

The selected candidate will join Team 3 (CRM, Cross-Program & Services) and play a key role in supporting Salesforce CRM operations, custom application development, cross-program functionality, Help Desk escalations, and backlog overflow support. This role operates within an Agile/SAFe environment with 16 sprints annually and requires active participation across multiple development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (required).
Strong expertise in:
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
SOQL/SOSL
Visualforce
Salesforce DX
OmniStudio (OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.
Experience using Git/GitHub, JIRA, Salesforce Data Loader, and VS Code with Salesforce Extensions.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Grants Management.
OmniStudio Developer certification.
Experience integrating Salesforce CRM with Marketing Cloud.
Familiarity with federal grants lifecycle management including pre-award, post-award, monitoring, and closeout activities.
Prior experience supporting federal government Salesforce programs.
Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
Experience implementing Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Experience working within SAFe delivery environments supporting multiple Scrum teams.
