The Role
• Serve as the primary representative of the Red Cross on assigned military installations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with military leadership, community organizations, and local leaders.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance community presence and promote Red Cross mission and services.
• Manage and support volunteer engagement programs, ensuring the delivery of Red Cross services.
• Coordinate services with military treatment facilities and VA hospitals, focusing on rehabilitation, material assistance, and resiliency training.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor program outcomes, and report on results to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human resources, community organization, social or health sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in program management or a similar field.
• Strong computer skills, public speaking abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in both individual and team environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret security clearance and a no-fee U.S. passport.
