Commutable from:Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Leicester, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Tamworth and surrounding areas.

Our client is an innovative manufacturing business specialising in advanced composite technologies. Working with a range of customers from growing businesses to global OEMs, they deliver both commercial manufacturing projects and cutting-edge development programmes across a variety of industries.

About the Role:

They are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to take ownership of a variety of engineering projects from concept through to delivery. This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, technical understanding and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Candidates from manufacturing environments such as injection moulding, plastics, composites or similar industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from planning through to delivery.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, production and supply chain teams.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines, costs and deliverables.
  • Support process improvements and new product development.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety and operational requirements.

About You:

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in a project engineering, manufacturing engineering or project management role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Injection moulding, plastics, composites or tooling experience would be advantageous.
