Job Description

  • Experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Responsible for supporting transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations across the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Lead functional design, configuration, implementation, and deployment of OTM modules.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Order Release
    • Shipment Planning
    • Rate Management
    • Freight Settlement
    • Agents & Automation
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, BRDs, MD50s, and test cases.
  • Configure OTM objects including Agents, Rate Structures, Itineraries, Shipments, Order Releases, and Service Providers.
  • Experience integrating OTM with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud SCM using REST/SOAP APIs, SOA, BPEL, or middleware tools.
  • Support transportation planning, carrier selection, freight audit, and payment processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Lead UAT, user training, and change management activities with business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and IT teams.
  • 10+ years of Oracle Functional Consulting experience with at least 3 years focused on OTM.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes including TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, and international shipping.
  • Experience writing functional documentation and using SQL for validation/testing.
  • Preferred skills include:
    • Oracle OTM Cloud
    • GTM (Global Trade Management)
    • EDI transactions (204, 214, 210)
    • 3PL and carrier integrations
    • Workflow optimization using OTM Automation Agents
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred for Mexico-based collaboration.
