Floating Leasing Specialist

Newbury Residential Inc. seeks a Floating Leasing Specialist to support leasing across its Greater Boston residential portfolio. You'll travel between communities to manage tours, prospect follow up, applications, and move ins, ensuring strong occupancy and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing leads in CRM systems, preparing leases in full compliance with Fair Housing, conducting market and competitor research, coordinating with maintenance on unit readiness, and reporting on traffic, conversions, and pricing trends. You'll work closely with a small, entrepreneurial team, gaining exposure to development and asset strategy.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Greater Boston residential communities to cover leasing needs as required
• Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and convert qualified leads to approved applications
• Manage leads and follow ups using CRM and property management software
• Prepare and process leases and renewals in compliance with Fair Housing and company policies
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure units are ready for showings and move ins
• Perform basic market and competitor research to support pricing and concession strategies
• Track and report on traffic, conversion, occupancy, and other key leasing metrics
• Support resident relations, move in/move out processes, and issue resolution
• Maintain accurate marketing listings, availability, and unit information across platforms
• Collaborate with principals and property managers to refine leasing strategies and resident experience.
