Job Description

Data & Insights Manager

6 Month Contract

London (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week in the office)

I'm currently working with a well-known national charity looking to hire an Interim Data & Insights Manager to provide leadership and stability to their Data & Insights function during a period of organisational change.

This role will sit at the centre of a small but highly impactful data team, bridging the gap between Data Operations, Data Insights, and key stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the team, maintaining momentum across ongoing data initiatives, and helping shape the future direction of the function.

The role would suit an experienced Data Manager, Data & Insights Lead, or Head of Data who combines strong stakeholder management skills with a solid understanding of reporting, analytics, data warehousing, raisers edge and data architecture in a fundraising environment.

The Data & Insights Manager will:

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary Data & Insights team, providing direction, coaching, and prioritisation of workstreams
  • Act as the key liaison between the data function and stakeholders across fundraising, finance, operations, and senior leadership teams
  • Oversee the delivery of reporting and analytics solutions, ensuring data is used effectively to support decision-making
  • Maintain and support ongoing improvements to the organisation's data warehouse and wider data architecture environment
  • Drive best practice across data governance, reporting processes, and team ways of working
  • Ideally have experience working within the charity or not-for-profit sector
  • Have exposure to Raiser's Edge
