Azure Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and governance of DevOps CI/CD strategies and enterprise delivery pipelines
• Architect and oversee implementation of Azure cloud solutions aligned to client business and technology strategies
• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and DevOps practices across Azure environments
• Provide technical leadership across project teams from requirements through architecture, delivery oversight, and operational handover
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures for modern workloads
• Lead technical assessments and cloud adoption strategies for customers moving to Azure
• Conduct architectural and technical reviews to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business objectives
• Mentor and guide analysts and consultants in delivery and capability development
• Contribute to pre sales activities including solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and client presentations

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps roles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Expertise in Azure and DevOps practices
• Strong experience designing and leading DevOps strategies using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and enterprise CI/CD platforms
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
• Strong architectural knowledge of Azure platform services, enterprise cloud migration, security, identity, and governance
• Strong experience in Azure networking and enterprise connectivity, including Hub Spoke, ExpressRoute, VPN, and network security architectures
• Experience with Kubernetes technologies
• Demonstrated technical leadership across delivery teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Australian citizenship and willingness to obtain security clearance
