Benefit Broker Account Manager | Tampa, FL, United States | Hybrid | $50,000 - $70,000 We're hiring on behalf of a respected, global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting. The Role • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of large group clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships. • Design and implement comprehensive benefit programs, including self-funded and fully insured plans. • Analyze claims data, utilization trends, and financial performance to recommend plan adjustments and cost-containment strategies. • Oversee stop-loss insurance arrangements for self-funded clients, ensuring appropriate coverage and terms. • Lead the annual renewal process, negotiating with carriers and vendors to secure competitive rates and terms. • Ensure clients' benefit programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits, with a focus on large group accounts (self-funded and fully insured). • In-depth knowledge of benefit plan design, funding arrangements, and compliance requirements. • Strong understanding of stop-loss insurance, including policy structures, claims reporting, and carrier negotiations. • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and benefit administration platforms. • Active Life and Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
