Role Summary
The Information Security Analyst with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) plays a key role in overseeing the operations, administration, and governance of enterprise security solutions. This position involves supporting access management platforms, ensuring compliance, and maintaining security protocols across the organization’s technology environment. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams to manage user lifecycle processes and uphold least-privilege access principles.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise identity and access management platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SailPoint, and Okta.
- Manage user lifecycle events such as provisioning, deprovisioning, and role administration in accordance with policies.
- Support authentication services, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity synchronization.
- Conduct regular access reviews, certification campaigns, and respond to audit requests to ensure compliance.
- Perform user account management tasks, including access modifications and role assignments, aligned with the principle of least privilege.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Business Teams to coordinate access controls and policy adherence.
- Support investigation and troubleshooting of authentication and authorization issues.
- Assist with identity governance activities and compliance-related tasks across the technology environment.
- Document operational procedures, system audits, and risk assessments related to access management.
- Stay informed of security frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and ITIL to ensure governance standards are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or IT operations involving user provisioning, access management, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Okta, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of developing and supporting JML (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) lifecycle processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and identity synchronization issues.
- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and least-privilege access models.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft SC-300, Okta certifications, SailPoint, or Security+ are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; or five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Availability to work remotely with the necessary technical setup.
Publishing Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 Hourly
This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
