System Engineer 3 – Scrum Coach 
Location: Elkridge, MD

Employees hired through this process will join MGPS and receive a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.   U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation.   Job Responsibilities: * Analyzes users’ requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. * Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. * Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. * Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. * Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. * Develops technical documentation. * Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. * Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. * Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. * Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. * Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. 
Required Skills: * A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience. * A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience. * A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience. * A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience. * Scrum Certification * Experience in Collaborating w/Product Owner in preparation for SAFe/agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews. * Inspect and Adapt, and Program Increment (PI) planning events. * Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required, CI poly date within the last 5 years.
