Job Description:

We are seeking a Database Administrator with expertise in AWS, Databricks, SQL Server, and modern cloud data platforms to support enterprise databases and data mesh architecture.

  Required Skills:

• 6+ years of Database Administration experience
• Amazon RDS, AWS DMS, SQL Server
• Databricks Unity Catalog (Metastores, Catalogs, Schemas)
• Starburst/Trino query federation
• Data Mesh architecture & Delta Lake
• Cloud Storage (S3, ADLS) and Hybrid Data Platforms
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• IAM, Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery
• REST APIs and Database Automation

  Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize enterprise databases and cloud data platforms
• Manage Databricks Unity Catalog, Starburst, and data federation
• Configure AWS RDS, DMS, storage gateways, and cloud-native storage
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement HA/DR solutions
• Automate database provisioning, migrations, and governance using Terraform and cloud services
• Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to support Data Mesh initiatives
