Cerner CCL - Sr. Analyst - FTE

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a Cerner CCL Senior Analyst for a full-time/perm opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain custom CCL programs, scripts, and reports within Cerner Millennium.
• Translate reporting and data requirements from clinical and operational stakeholders into working CCL solutions.
• Troubleshoot and remediate defects in existing CCL code, including performance tuning of long-running queries.
• Build and maintain Discern Expert rules, alerts, and Discern Reporting Portal content.
• Validate output against the Millennium data model to confirm accuracy before release.
• Support releases, upgrades, and code migrations through established change control.
• Document code, logic, and design decisions so solutions remain supportable by the broader team.

Requirements:

• Hands-on Cerner CCL development expertise.
• Working knowledge of the Cerner Millennium data model and underlying table structures.
• Experience with Discern Expert, Discern Reporting Portal, or comparable Cerner reporting tools.
• Ability to gather requirements directly from clinical and operational end users and convert them into technical specifications.
• SQL proficiency with comfort validating data output.
• Experience moving CCL code through testing, change control, and production release.
• Strong written documentation and communication skills.
