Expected duration: 6 months from candidate''s start dateRequired skills, experience, etc.: 3+ years of QA automation experience, hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks, experience with automated functional, regression, and integration testing, familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and ability to work onsite in Delaware. Experience with robotics, embedded systems, or CI/CD tools is a plus.○ Interview process: 2 interviews with Client - 1 virtual technical interview, and 1 onsite interview-must be local Job DescriptionWe are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing solutions, execute quality assurance activities, and ensure software applications meet functional, integration, and performance requirements. This position will be a contract and onsite in Newark, DE. What You''ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testingCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and quality assurance team members to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test casesExecute automated and manual testing cycles and document test resultsIdentify, document, and track software defects through resolutionIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot test execution failuresParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, story refinement, daily standups, and retrospectivesMaintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and testing proceduresMonitor and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and overall testing progressSupport quality assurance best practices and contribute to continuous process improvementsWork closely with project teams to ensure software releases meet established quality standards What You''ll NeedRequired:3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automationExperience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworksExperience developing automated test scripts using common scripting or programming languagesExperience with defect tracking and test case management toolsExperience executing functional, regression, integration, and system testingKnowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologiesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work onsite in Delaware as required by the client Preferred:Experience testing robotics, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated software solutionsExperience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelinesExperience with version control systemsBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceExperience working within highly collaborative software development environmentsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
