AWS DevOps Engineer<br />London - 4 days per week (non-negotiable)<br />12 months initial contract<br />Inside IR35 - £550<br />Asap Start We are supporting a global financial services client (hedge fund) on the hire of a mid-level AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer to work within a high-performing technology environment.<br />This is a hands-on engineering role, focused on building and supporting cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability.

Role Responsibilities Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure<br />Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)<br />Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)<br />Support containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS)<br />Ensure platform stability, monitoring, and performance<br />Support deployments, release cycles, and environment setup<br />Work closely with engineering teams to enable delivery and best practice Core Requirements 4+ experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering<br />Strong hands-on experience with AWS<br />Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)<br />Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines<br />Exposure to Kubernetes / container platforms<br />Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments preferred Technical Environment AWS (core infrastructure + networking fundamentals)<br />Terraform (IaC)<br />Kubernetes / EKS<br />Docker / containerisation<br />CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab or similar) Profile Strong hands-on engineer (not an architect / not purely strategic)<br />Comfortable working across infrastructure, pipelines, and environments<br />Able to operate with a degree of autonomy in delivery teams<br />Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and comfortable in fast-paced environments Additional Notes This is a high-ownership role with strong engineering expectations<br />Preference for candidates with exposure to:<br />Financial services or similar environments<br />High-availability / performance-driven platforms
