Job Description

Job Title: Billing Functional Lead

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Technical Skills: Years/Level of Experience

Billing and Revenue Management            (15+ yrs experience)

SAP for Utilities Billing                                 (10+ yrs experience)

Role Description:

  • Validates billing requirements, rate logic, exceptions, bill accuracy, customer-impact scenarios, and operational readiness.
  • Provides billing quality advisory and operational validation focusing on complex rates, TOU/RTP, reversals, locks/blocks, BPEM, ORT, UAT sign-off, first-cycle readiness, and hypercare root cause analysis.
  • Delivers reviewed requirements, edge case documentation, validation rules, ORT dispositions, operational procedures, training inputs, and issue-resolution guidance.
  • Critical capabilities include deep revenue billing operations knowledge, regulatory/customer impact understanding, exception management, complex rate expertise, bill compare proficiency, and production stabilization experience.

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
