Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Atherstone, Warwickshire £41,000 – £46,000 + shift allowance + overtime (OTE £45,000+) 37.5 hours per week | Rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 | 14:00–22:00 | 22:00–06:00) Permanent | Full Time The Role Interaction Recruitment is supporting a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and safety-focused organisation, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently through a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns<br />Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on plant and production equipment<br />Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise output<br />Ensuring full compliance with health &amp; safety standards and company procedures<br />Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency<br />Maintaining accurate maintenance records and supporting audits/compliance What We’re Looking For Engineering qualification or time-served experience<br />Background in manufacturing, production, or heavy industry<br />Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (days, lates, nights)<br />Strong fault-finding and hands-on maintenance skills<br />Desirable:
