Data Analyst

AWS Data Analyst Contract | London / Edinburgh | Hybrid

We're looking for an experienced AWS Data Analyst to join a major financial services transformation programme on an initial 6-month contract. This hybrid role requires 2 days per week onsite in either London or Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets to support strategic programme delivery
• Build customer and policy data cohorts using AWS and SQL
• Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and reporting
• Produce dashboards and visualisations using Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight
• Collaborate with stakeholders across data and analytics teams
• Perform QA of analysis and maintain version-controlled documentation

Key skills:

• Strong SQL expertise
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake and GitLab
• Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight
• Data analysis, reporting and visualisation
• Stakeholder management and problem solving
• QA, documentation and version control
• Experience within banking or financial services is highly desirable

Excellent day rate available. 6-month initial contract with strong extension potential.
