Associate Architect | Abbott Park, IL, United States | On-site | $86,700.00 – $173,300.00

We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognized healthcare leader, known for its commitment to improving lives through innovative technologies across diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and branded generic medicines. The Role

  • Design, develop, and support integrations and reports connecting Workday with various internal and external systems.
  • Build integrations utilizing Workday technologies such as Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, Workday Studio, and EIBs.
  • Collaborate with project teams including Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and offshore resources to deliver integration components.
  • Support the entire integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering through ongoing maintenance.
  • Partner with leadership on system analysis, optimization, and architectural enhancements.
  • Create and maintain essential technical documentation, including integration specifications and data flow diagrams.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 7-8 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and Workday HCM concepts.
  • Familiarity with SaaS architecture and integration patterns (SOAP, REST APIs).
  • Proficiency with development and testing tools like Workday Studio, Oxygen, Postman, or SOAP UI.
