Devops Engineer

Role: Devops Engineer
Location Sacramento, CA - Remote 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Software Developer / DevOps Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level software solutions supporting large-scale government initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software architecture, application development, Azure DevOps, Agile delivery, and technical leadership. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

• Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Mandatory Certification: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) (active).
• Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience, including 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps in enterprise environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates), Git, Docker, AKS, PowerShell or Python scripting, monitoring, logging, DevSecOps, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Minimum one (1) project providing software development, DevOps, or cloud services for a federal, state, or local government entity.
• Healthcare IT or public-sector healthcare experience is highly desirable, including experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Key Vault.
