Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Hardware NPI Operations
Lead to support a major consumer electronics client. The ideal candidate
will have hands-on experience driving New Product Introduction (NPI) builds
from prototype through mass production, working directly with contract
manufacturers, and managing build execution and material readiness.
Must-Have Requirements
  • 6+ years of hardware NPI experience
  • Deep understanding of EVT / DVT / PVT build phases
  • Background in consumer electronics or high-volume hardware manufacturing
  • Direct experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities
  • Experience managing build execution, material readiness, and BOM/configuration management
Preferred Backgrounds
Candidates with experience at the following companies or in
similar environments are highly preferred:
  • Consumer Electronics: Apple, Google, Amazon Devices, Fitbit
  • Contract Manufacturers: Jabil, Flex, Foxconn, Sanmina, Celestica
  • Product Domains: AR/VR, mobile devices, wearables, and consumer electronics

  • Generic project or program management without hands-on hardware NPI experience
What We Are Looking For
We need a candidate who has
personally driven EVT / DVT /
PVT builds, collaborated directly with contract manufacturers, and
supported hardware products through the complete lifecycle—from prototype
development to production.

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on hardware NPI experience rather than general supply chain or project management expertise.
