Location: Jersey City, NJ Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly Description:

• Hardware Architecture - Performance testing, monitoring, and operations
• Hardware Benchmarking - Agile methodology, program management, and network management
• System Design - Compliance and security considerations
• Network Engineering - Planning and provisioning
• Infrastructure Expertise - Proficiency in multiple infrastructure technologies
• Best Practices & Policies - Advanced understanding of industry best practices and JPMC policies

Key Competencies:

• Proven ability to conceptualize, initiate, and deliver multiple IT projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to senior management in clear and concise terms.
• Expertise in assembling technology solutions and designing effective architectures.
• Relevant technical certifications as required.

Contractor Requirements:

• Infrastructure Engineering - Compute, storage, networking, and coding skills (70:30 ratio)
• Kubernetes Expertise - Specific proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift
  
  • BareMetal installations
  • K8 networking (CNI Cilium)
  • Storage (CSI)
  • Performance testing of OpenShift environments using Helm charts
  • OpenShift Operator management
• Ceph Storage Management - Deployment, upgrades, and integration with Kubernetes for S3-compatible storage
• Virtualization & Cloud Migration - Automating VM migrations into OpenStack with KubeVirt and KVM
• Performance Optimization - Advanced tuning techniques for OpenStack environments
• Cloud-Native Infrastructure - Ensuring high availability and fault tolerance across OpenShift environments
