Software Developer - Production Support

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Production Support for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client's Dallas office.

Software Developer - Production Support - Job Description:
The project involves providing technical support and software development for Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM), focusing on the integration between upstream and downstream systems. The role requires maintaining and enhancing existing systems to ensure seamless operations and support.

Software development
Support production issues
Support deployment
Build back-end systems
UI development
Work with messaging and monitoring
Collaborate closely with IT senior manager and other developers
Interact with business team to gather requirements

Software Developer - Production Support - Mandatory Skills:
8+ years of experience with large-scale application development and integration using Java and/or Python
4+ years of experience with data technologies and databases like PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
2+ years of experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, JavaScript
3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins
3+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes
3+ years of experience with test automation, including SRE and synthetic monitoring

Software Developer - Production Support - Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous experience in mortgage capital markets
Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools like CRON, Tidal, or Airflow
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
Experience working in an Agile environment with TDD understanding

Software Developer - Production Support - Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
