Konstruktionsmechaniker | Plauen, Germany | On-site We are seeking a skilled Metal and Steel Construction Mechanic for a leading industrial steel and metal construction company with a strong manufacturing presence. This role is crucial for enhancing our production and assembly capabilities. The Role • Fabricate metal and steel assemblies according to technical drawings and bills of materials. • Cut, shape, and process sheets, profiles, and components. • Tack and weld assemblies as specified (e.g., MAG/WIG, depending on qualifications). • Assemble components and structures in the production facility or at regional construction sites. • Perform dimensional, fit, and quality checks. • Refine and adjust components. • Document executed work according to internal standards. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a Metal and Steel Construction Mechanic or comparable qualification. • Work experience in metal or steel construction is desirable. • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, bills of materials, and using measuring tools. • Welding skills are an advantage, but not essential. • Diligent, structured, and quality-conscious work approach. • Manual dexterity, reliability, and teamwork skills. • German language proficiency for instructions and documentation.
