Job Description

About Aspen Vacations

Aspen Vacations is a luxury vacation rental company based in Aspen, CO, one of the world's most iconic destinations, managing a curated portfolio of exceptional properties. True five-star hospitality is in the details: anticipating needs, personalizing every interaction, and creating unforgettable experiences from pre-arrival through post-departure. We are a close, collaborative team driven by a genuine commitment to our guests, our homeowners, and the standard of experience we deliver.

Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Aspen Vacations, you will be part of a team of three supervisors responsible for maintaining exceptional standards across our portfolio of luxury homes. You will inspect completed cleans, provide real-time coaching, assistance, and direction to housekeeping staff, and coordinate closely with other departments to ensure every property is ready on time and delivers the exceptional arrival experience our guests expect. Your time will be divided among property inspections, ensuring the housekeeping team in the field has the supplies and tools needed to perform their work, managing inventory, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating special guest requests. You will work throughout Aspen and Snowmass, moving between properties with distinct finishes, features, and requirements. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to coach effectively will directly shape each guest’s first impression and overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect properties following each clean to confirm cleanliness, correct staging, and readiness for guest arrival.
  • Verify that linens, amenities, and household items are in place, in good condition, and replenished, reporting shortages or damage.
  • Identify maintenance issues during inspections, report them promptly, and follow up through resolution.
  • Supervise housekeeping staff during daily operations, setting the pace and keeping workflows efficient across multiple same-day turns.
  • Hold every clean to Aspen Vacations quality, sanitation, and safety standards, using inspection findings to coach housekeepers in real time and correct issues before guest arrival.
  • Provide direction and hands-on assistance in the field.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new housekeeping team members so quality stays consistent as the team grows.
  • Coordinate with other teams to facilitate special requests and preferences from guests and homeowners.
  • Monitor cleaning timelines throughout the day and adjust to meet tight turnover windows.
  • Maintain consistent communication with management, operations, and guest services so arrivals, departures, and special requests are handled without gaps.
  • Ensure the housekeeping team in the field has the supplies, linens, and tools needed to complete their work.
  • Conduct inventory checks on linens, amenities, and supplies, and flag reorders before shortages affect turns.
  • Receive deliveries and keep the office and inventory room clean, organized, and accurately stocked.
  • Supervise and assist with on-site laundry facilities when needed.
  • 2+ years of housekeeping supervision experience in lodging, with luxury vacation rental experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive leadership approach with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong computer skills required: this role depends on confident daily use of email, scheduling tools, and company software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Travel between properties is local.
  • This is an active, on-your-feet role: standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 40 pounds, moving between properties throughout the day.
  • Hourly range: $30.00 to $35.00, based on experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off, including PTO, sick days, and vacation days.
  • Mileage reimbursement
