AI Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML engineering, enterprise AI platform delivery, and AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience leading, managing, and coaching AI/ML engineering teams while implementing scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions in enterprise environments.

The candidate should possess a deep understanding of AI development frameworks, AI governance, model risk management, and enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML engineering initiatives and drive enterprise AI solution implementation.
• Manage, mentor, and coach AI/ML engineering teams, particularly within the AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) work model.
• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML development processes and frameworks.
• Apply AIDLC frameworks and methodologies, including Spec Kit, BMAD, Spectra, or similar approaches.
• Establish and implement AI governance, responsible AI practices, and model risk management standards.
• Ensure AI solutions align with regulatory requirements, enterprise policies, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI platforms and modernize existing enterprise systems.
• Drive AI transformation initiatives, improving development efficiency, solution quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of secure, reliable, and compliant AI/ML solutions in regulated environments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, AI platform delivery, and enterprise AI solution implementation.
• At least 4 years of experience leading, managing, or coaching AI/ML engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of the AI Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with AIDLC frameworks such as Spec Kit, BMAD, Spectra, or similar methodologies.
• Expertise in AI governance, responsible AI, and model risk management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI solution development and implementation.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and responsible AI implementation.
• Experience leading enterprise AI transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
• Certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing, data engineering, or Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience Level

8–10 years of overall experience, including significant AI/ML engineering experience and at least 4 years of AI/ML team leadership, management, or coaching experience.
