Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to perform mid-level to complex accounting functions, support financial reporting, and contribute to month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate is a strong, seasoned accountant with substantial General Ledger ownership

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post moderately complex journal entries.

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances, trends, and key drivers.

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.

• Prepare financial performance reports, ad hoc analyses, and management narratives.

• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.

• Research accounting issues and proactively resolve problems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support special projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting.

• 2+ years of accounting experience with strong General Ledger ownership.

• Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

• Solid knowledge of GAAP.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent organization, communication, and time-management abilities.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/Oracle Financial systems.

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing ownership and responsibility.

• Experience leading accounting projects and working cross-functionally.

• Demonstrated readiness to progress into a Senior Accountant position.
