Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned RPA Project Manager with deep end-to-end expertise in Blue Prism to lead automation initiatives for a strategic client engagement in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will combine strong program management capabilities with hands-on knowledge of the RPA lifecycle, governance, automation delivery, and stakeholder management. This leader will partner with client executives, delivery teams, and third-party vendors to drive automation adoption, expand the RPA footprint, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RPA programs from opportunity assessment through design, development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and support.
• Manage multiple Blue Prism automation initiatives while ensuring quality, timelines, budget, and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Define automation roadmaps, governance models, operating frameworks, and delivery best practices.
• Collaborate with client leadership to identify new automation opportunities and expand the RPA pipeline.
• Drive business development and account growth by positioning Cognizant s automation and AI-led transformation capabilities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery execution.
• Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and executive communications.
• Establish KPIs and track automation benefits including cost reduction, productivity gains, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor delivery teams and promote automation best practices across the engagement.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project/program management experience with at least 5+ years leading RPA initiatives.
• Strong end-to-end knowledge of RPA delivery lifecycle and automation operating models.
• Proven expertise in Blue Prism architecture, implementation, deployment, governance, and production support.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale automation programs in highly regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and vendor management skills.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and expanding automation opportunities within client accounts.
• Experience working with distributed delivery teams and driving outcomes in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Blue Prism Certification (Professional Developer, Solution Designer, or equivalent).
• Exposure to Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, AI Agents, OCR, Document Intelligence, Process Mining, or AI-powered workflow solutions.
• Experience in Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Financial Services domains.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.
