Access Supervisor - Marine Structural Integrity

Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is seeking an Access Supervisor to support our Coastal Operations Core Crew. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marine Structural Integrity project on Rio Tinto's CLA Wharf as a crucial member of the team. The project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the wharf through blast, painting and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will supervise all scaffold and rope access activities supporting the works, ensuring access systems are installed and maintained safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project requirements. This is a casual position with a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha. We encourage First Nations people and female applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffold and rope access crews supporting blast, paint, and welding works on the wharf
• Ensure access systems are compliant with design, safety standards, and site requirements
• Coordinate closely with other disciplines to enable efficient execution of remediation works
• Act as the primary point of contact for access crews, providing leadership and direction

What you'll bring

• 2-5 years' supervisory experience in access (scaffolding and/or rope access) within mining or heavy industry
• Relevant high risk work license (Scaffolding) and/or IRATA qualification
• Strong understanding of access design, installation, and inspection requirements
• Experience working on marine or coastal projects (desirable)
• Familiarity with Rio Tinto systems and procedures (desirable)
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivery outcomes
• Valid right to work in Australia
