Job Title : AI/ML Engineer Intern AI Technology & Product Support

Position Overview

Gain practical exposure to AI/ML development, emerging AI technologies, enterprise applications, and technology product support in an apprenticeship role. This opportunity combines AI research and prototyping with AI governance, business process improvement, application administration, and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Working under supervision, you will contribute to AI initiatives, help evaluate technology solutions against business needs, and support application portfolios, project delivery, and continuous improvement activities.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

Research emerging AI trends, tools, technologies, and vendor solutions, evaluating their relevance to defined business use cases.
Contribute to the development of AI/ML models and prototype applications for prioritized use cases.
Help design and document data and AI pipelines that integrate with existing systems.
Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and recommendations that clearly communicate research findings and outcomes.
Collaborate with data, engineering, software development, and governance teams.
Support AI governance activities, including risk assessments, compliance tracking, and documentation maintenance.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI, automation, and digital solutions.
Administer assigned enterprise applications, supporting configuration, access management, and operational activities.
Act as a Technical Product Owner (TPO) for assigned divisions and application portfolios.
Partner with project managers, architects, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to support project delivery and application enhancements.
Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and division leadership.
Coordinate production support activities, monitor issues, and manage escalations through resolution.
Assist with application modernization, continuous improvement, and innovation initiatives.
Support vendor management, software renewals, governance activities, and portfolio planning efforts.

Required Qualifications

Ability to work under supervision in an AI apprenticeship environment.
Ability to contribute to AI/ML model development and prototype applications.
Ability to research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and vendor solutions against business use cases.
Ability to support data and AI pipeline design and documentation.
Ability to prepare clear reports, analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
Ability to support AI governance documentation, risk assessments, and compliance tracking.
Ability to support enterprise application administration, stakeholder collaboration, and application operations.
