IT Infrastructure Support Engineer (Temporary)<br />Location: ​Central Guildford (On-site)<br />Contract Length: 6 months<br />Working Hours: Monday-Friday, ​9.00am - 5.30pm<br />Parking:

No<br />Salary: £45,000 (£23.07 per hour) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide on-site technical support.

This contract role will support the existing IT team during a period of increased workload, providing hands-on user support while assisting with the maintenance and administration of local IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work closely with local and global IT teams​ and development teams to ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations and a high level of service for users.

Key Responsibilities Provide on-site IT support to studio users, resolving hardware, software and infrastructure-related issues.<br />Respond to and manage IT support requests through the helpdesk function.<br />Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to desktops, laptops, peripherals, software applications and user access.<br />Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, equipment provisioning and access management.<br />Install, configure and maintain hardware and software across the studio environment.<br />Maintain accurate IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures and support records.<br />Manage IT assets, inventory tracking and equipment lifecycle processes.<br />Assist with the coordination and maintenance of local studio IT infrastructure.<br />Support server room activities, including upkeep, monitoring and general maintenance.<br />Administer and support Windows client and server environments.<br />Monitor system health and performance to support uptime and reliability.<br />Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to development teams.<br />Support incident investigation, resolution and escalation processes.<br />Collaborate with global IT teams across infrastructure, networking, security and Linux functions.<br />Assist with testing and deployment of system changes and releases.<br />Provide remote support to users in overseas locations when required.<br />Participate in incident response and emergency procedures relating to studio IT systems.

Essential Skills &amp; Experience 2+ years' experience working in an on-site IT support or infrastructure support role.<br />Strong experience supporting Windows desktop environments.<br />Experience with Windows Server administration and related technologies.<br />Good understanding of hardware, software and peripheral troubleshooting.<br />Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and VPN technologies.<br />Experience supporting user accounts, access management and onboarding/offboarding processes.<br />Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users at all levels.<br />Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.<br />Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider IT teams.

You will have a broad IT support background with enough infrastructure knowledge to assist with server, networking and operational tasks within a busy studio environment
