WMS Billing Consultant - Blue Yonder

Configure Blue Yonder Billing Management for a major supply chain operation. Rate cards, billable events, invoicing.

Our client is one of Australia's largest supply chain operations, with a technology function that runs enterprise platforms at genuine scale. They have an immediate need for a WMS Billing Consultant, based in Melbourne, on an initial six month contract with extensions expected. Adelaide-based candidates will also be considered.

The role

You will configure Blue Yonder Billing Management, the layer that turns warehouse activity into customer invoices. A solution lead owns the design; you build it in the system and prove it works. This is hands on configuration on a greenfield billing build, not a design or advisory role.

• Configure client rate cards and contract structures
• Map WMS transactions to billable events across receipts, putaway, picks, handling and VAS
• Set up storage billing rules, accessorial and value-added service charges
• Build and validate invoice output, and support the finance integration
• Migrate rate and contract data off legacy tools and spreadsheets

What you'll need to succeed;

• Hands on configuration experience in Blue Yonder, JDA or RedPrairie WMS
• MOCA, with Page Builder or Integrator advantageous
• Activity based billing in a 3PL or contract logistics environment
• Working knowledge of rate cards, accessorials, storage charging and revenue leakage
• Solid SQL, and the ability to prove an invoice is right from the data
• Discipline around testing - billing errors are financially visible
• Blue Yonder Billing Management, Luminate Billing or Third Party Billing advantageous
• Activity based billing on Körber, Manhattan, Infios or CargoWise advantageous
