Windows Server Administrator

Title: Senior Windows Server Administrator (Locals Only)
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Project Description: Windows Server 2016 will go end of life on January 12, 2027. The project will focus on upgrading Microsoft Windows core technologies from Windows Server 2016 to the latest supported and certified operating systems. All upgrades are on prem infrastructure.

Technologies in Scope: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, PKI, FRS to DFSR, File Servers, Print Servers, IIS Web Servers.

Requirements: Candidate must have at least 10+ years' experience with performing upgrades and completing decommissioning activities of the technologies in scope. Additionally, the candidate must be strong in the following areas:
Windows Server Operating System
Windows PowerShell
Windows Server Performance and Troubleshooting
VMware

WORK CONDITIONS
Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is also dependent on input from others.
Often exposed to stressful situations.
Subject drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
Occasional travel is required to support remote office locations.
Ability to work outside normal workdays and standard office hours.
