Cloud Application Architect with Microsoft Entra ID

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Architect with strong expertise in On-Premises to Azure Cloud migration, including Virtual Machine migration, infrastructure modernization, automation, and cloud resource management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VMware, Azure, AKS, Containers, Terraform, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Microsoft Entra ID.

Responsibilities:

·         Lead and design On-Premises to Azure Cloud migration initiatives.

·         Assess and migrate VMware-based Virtual Machines and applications to Azure.

·         Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure, AKS, and container technologies.

·         Manage and support Windows and Linux servers in On-Premises and Azure environments.

·         Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM Templates, and PowerShell scripting.

·         Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, networking, compute, storage, and related cloud services.

·         Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.

·         Design and support identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure IAM/RBAC.

·         Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Application, and DevOps teams to ensure successful cloud migrations.

·         Troubleshoot migration, infrastructure, identity, and cloud resource issues.

Required Skills:

·         10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Application Architecture.

·         Strong experience with On-Premises to Azure Cloud migration.

·         Hands-on experience migrating VMware Virtual Machines to Azure.

·         Experience with VMware, Windows Server, and Linux administration.

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and resource management.

·         Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Containers.

·         Strong experience with Terraform and ARM Templates.

·         Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.

·         Experience managing and automating Azure resources.

·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure IAM, RBAC, and identity management.

·         Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud governance.

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

·         Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, DNS, and Firewalls.

·         Experience with cloud security and governance.

·         Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.

Strong communication, architecture, and stakeholder management skills.
