Senior Functional Analyst – Financial Sector

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to work in a dynamic financial environment.

About the Role

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for creating functional and non-functional specifications based on business requirements. He/she will liaise with the development team within a Scrum framework and prepare the necessary testing phases.

The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Architect, and Scrum team members. He/she demonstrates deep analytical skills to evaluate high-level information gathered from various sources and break it down into detailed, structured artifacts understandable by the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements documentation

• Detail solutions with the Architect and Development team based on business needs

• Design service specifications

• Define the data model with the Data Architect

• Write functional requirements (User Stories in Jira and documentation on Confluence)

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Business Analyst

• Support the Scrum Team in developing and testing software

Required Profile

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst

• Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies

• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence

• Ability to decompose complex information into clear, structured specifications

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
