Business Analyst-Business Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake and Python to support data-driven business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Arize Phoenix tool and be comfortable bridging the gap between business requirements and technical data solutions. This is a hybrid role based out of Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate solutions built on Snowflake
• Write and review Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Utilize Phoenix tools to support business analysis and reporting workflows
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories
• Conduct data validation, UAT, and quality assurance for Snowflake-based reports and dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product owners, and QA
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
• Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics-focused projects
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, querying, performance tuning)
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
• Prior experience using Phoenix tools (required)
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with requirement-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Background in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Prior experience in [industry-specific, if applicable]

Work Authorization:

• Must be able to work on W2 only (no third-party C2C arrangements)

• Dallas, TX – Hybrid (on-site days as per client requirement)
